[edit] Peguero Jean Philippe or Jean Philippe Peguero
According to Peguero himself in this interview (video, first question), his name is Peguero Jean Philippe, not the other way around. Is there any reasoning behind the article title as it is now? If not, I'll move the article to Peguero Jean Philippe. -- Hestemand 15:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- Peguero is his surname (last name) and it is my understanding that Haitians generally refer to themselves in the same manner as French people - first name (given name) then last name (surname). I'm moving back based on [1], [2], [3], etc. Best regards. Jogurney 21:21, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have no reason to believe that Haitian naming conventions differ from those most common in Europe, that is first name (given name) followed by last name (surname). I therefore direct your attention to the video provided in my argument above: He himself states that Peguero is his "first name" (and given name presumably) and Jean Philippe his "last name". This is supported by his brondby.com profile. Regards, Hestemand 18:52, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
