Paul Garnault is an international Actor, director and lecturer. Born in Oxford, England, 1961. Trained at 'East 15 Acting School', (London).[1] is Artistic Director founder of Wales Actors' Company [2] for more than twenty years, 1984-2007. (The Company works in the Theatre Workshop style of Joan Littlewood [3]. He pioneered open air-theatre in Wales.
He is also an advisor to Arts Council Of Wales, South Wales Committee. Verifiable critical anaysis of work on theatre-wales.co.uk [4]. Placing Wales Actors' Company, "without doubt one of the most successful professional theatre companies in Wales".
Professional Theatre dierction for Wales Actors Company includes: 1998 Twelfth Night, 1999 Hamlet, 2000 Henry V, 2001 Romeo And Juliet, 2002 Midsummer Nights Dream, 2001 Macbeth, 2002 The Rover Aphra Behn, 2003 Dr Faustus by Christopher Marlowe, 2003 The Tempest. 2004 Much Ado About Nothing
He is also Course Leader, HE lecturer in Media Performance and Production at Gloucestershire College of Art and Technology [5] and Cheltenham Film Studios. He has worked as an actor, director and lecturer in Nuremberg Stadttheater Erlangen [6] and Heidelberg, Germany.
