Paulo Baldi is an American drummer/percussionist from the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been a member of Cake, Les Claypool's Fancy Band, Deadweight and the Eric McFadden Trio among others.[1]
The Eric McFadden website states, "Since his first professional work with flamenco-jazz guitarist Ottmar Liebert, Paulo Baldi has been increasingly in demand as a session and live drummer. He appears on records by such diverse artists as Sufi classicist Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Alien lovestock and San Francisco trio Deadweight. A hand-drummer of incredible ability, Baldi recently completed a tour of Egypt playing hand drums in a U.S. group, and appears with San Francisco world music band Ali Khan. He also plays with local S.F. band the Smoke Daddies."[2]
