Patrick Alan Listach (born September 12, 1967 in Natchitoches, Louisiana) was a Major League Baseball shortstop in the 1990s. Listach played for the Milwaukee Brewers (1992-1996) and Houston Astros (1997). He is the manager of the Chicago Cubs AAA minor league affiliate, the Iowa Cubs.
His best season was in 1992, his rookie year. After being called up from the minor leagues by the Brewers in April, Listach became a vital member of a team that won 92 games and contended for the American League playoffs. His 54 stolen bases in 1992 ranked only behind the total of Kenny Lofton, another prominent rookie during that season. Listach would go on to win the 1992 American League Rookie of the Year award.
Pat has four children; Mariah, Hollie, Patrick and Blaine. He lives in Spring, Texas with Carolyn and her children, Catie and Jake, and Henry, their miniature dachshund.
