[edit] Extracurricular activities

The Passaic Valley Regional High School Hornets compete in the Skyline Division of the Northern Hills Conference.

Passaic Valley also has a program call "24 Hours Around the World" in which students teleconference with other nations for 24 hours.

Passaic Valley also has a ski club, in which students go on a trip to Mountain Creek.

Passaic Valley's school colors are green and white. The school mascot, the Hornet, was derived, by vote of the first class, from The Green Hornet radio series popular in the 1940s.

The main event year in and year out at Passaic Valley is "Girl Show", in which girls from Totowa, Little Falls and West Paterson have the option of which color they want to be (green or white). Each year every girl has the option of trying out and participating. They practice for almost half the year for the event which includes competitions of cheer and dance. This event can be found on local television.
