Hi, I'm Parodygm. It's probably about time I added a small information page for myself now that I've spent a little time editing other people's hard work as a WikiGnome.
I was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. I now reside in Beaverton, part of the greater Portland, Oregon metro area. I have had the opportunity to travel around some of the beautiful Pacific Northwest and I hope to be able to continue to add some texture to articles related to the area with my own writing and photographs taken with a Canon PowerShot S70 camera.
It is my personal goal to stop Americans from referring to Kiwifruit as kiwi. I prefer not to have images of cannibalism or the extinction of our native bird roaming through my brain! I will follow this effort up with trying to prevent New Zealanders from referring to the Chinese gooseberry as a kiwifruit.
