Parkpop

The Parkpop festival is held annually on the last Sunday of June in the city of The Hague.
It was first held in 1981 and attended by 35,000 visitors. Today almost 350,000 people visit the festival every year making it the largest free pop festival in Europe. It is held at Zuiderpark.
The 28th edition of Parkpop will be held on June 29th and will feature Kula Shaker, Monte Montgomery, Orishas, Moke, Mala Vita, Kleine Jay and will be headlined by Sheryl Crow.

The 27th edition of van Parkpop took place on Sunday 24th 2007 and features Kim Wilde, Maria Mena en Johan.

The 26th edition featured The Kooks, Kelis, Ronnie Spector, Garland Jeffreys and was headlined by Di-rect and Melanie C.
With heavy rain that year the number of visitors was 175,000

The 23rd edition of Parkpop on 30th June 2002 featured Bintangs, Dandy Warhols, Enrico Riva, Hans Vandenburg, Kareem Raihani, Kirsten, Levellers, Mimezine, Ozark Henry, Suzanne Vega and was headlines by three popular dutch bands Kane, Di-rect and Within Temptation
