Panionios BC Athens (in Greek: ΠΑΝΙΩΝΙΟΣ) is a Greek professional basketball club. Panionios BC is the basketball team of the Panionios Gymnastic Club of Nea Smyrni, Athens, Greece. The Panionios parent athletic union was founded in the year 1890. The team colors are blue and crimson.

Panionios BC is considered to be a long-time mid-level club of the Greek League, which is considered the 2nd best domestic basketball league in Europe after the Spanish League. Recently, Panionios BC also competes in the Euroleague, which is the 2nd best basketball league in the world after only the NBA.

The basketball department of the parent athletic club participated in the Greek Basketball League starting in 1929 and finished in second place. Panionios BC finished in third place in the league the next year.
Panionios BC has competed in the top Greek basketball league the Greek A1 Championship since 1982. In 1991, the team won the Greek Basketball Cup by defeating PAOK Thessaloniki by a score of 73-70. Panionios BC also played in the final game of The Greek Basketball Cup in both 1977 and 1995. In 1987, Panionios BC played in the final series of the Greek A1 Championship, losing out to Aris Thessaloniki and their two Greek basketball legends Nick Galis and Panagiotis Giannakis.
