Edmond Pang Ho-Cheung (traditional Chinese: 彭浩翔) is a Hong Kong novelist, playwright, film director, producer, actor and writer.

Pang was born in Hong Kong in 1973. At the age of 15, he started using a video camera to direct short films with his elder brother. ^[1]

After graduating from high school, he studied abroad in Taiwan for half a year, before returning to Hong Kong where he worked for Hong Kong Asian Television Limited as a gag show scriptwriter. He later wrote his first novel, and served as a columnist for various newspapers and magazines. ^[2]

In 1997, at the age of 24, Pang conducted an 18-month research, and began writing his first novel, “Fulltime Killer”. The novel was extremely popular at the time, and it had been sold for more than 100,000 copies in Hong Kong once it was published. Thereafter, the story was sold and revised as a radio program. The novel was later adapted into a feature film in 2001. ^[3]

When Pang was still the host of both television and broadcasting programs, he decided to go for his dream of becoming a film director.
