Pan Peninsula, also known as 1 Millharbour, is a major residential development under construction in the Docklands area of London, opposite South Quay DLR station.

When complete it will contain two towers, one of 147 metres/48 storeys, which will become the tallest residential tower in London, surpassing the towers of the Barbican Estate. The shorter building will be 122 metres/38 storeys high.

The project was designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and is being developed by Irish property firm Ballymore.

Both towers will be connected by a reception area containing a concierge foyer, gym and terraced restaurant. The 48th floor of the tallest tower will house a cocktail bar, open to residents and their guests. The tops of the towers have been designed to resemble lanterns, providing strong lighting features that will be very visible on the skyline and will gradually change colour.

The showrooms for the apartments are contained in a floating pontoon on the South Quay dock. An official Pan Peninsula boat resides at the pontoon, making regular cruises around the docks to give potential buyers a tour of the area and an up-close view of the construction work.

The towers will house mainly 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom and studio apartments, all containing balconies. The studio apartments are relatively small, containing storage space in the majority of the finished walls, and a fold-up bed that locks into the wall space, creating a dining room environment. Despite this space restriction, the studio apartments have still been sold at £300,000.

The tallest tower was topped-out in September 2007. Both buildings are due to be complete and housing tenants by Spring 2009. They will join several other towers currently under construction nearby.
