Do/should these city pages include information other than raw numbers, such as civic groups, activities, events etc? For instance, there's no mention of the historical significance of PG, the fact that large portions of it are on land reserved by Asilomar State Beach, that flocks (is that the right word?) of butterflys overwinter at George Washington Park on Sinex Ave?

This is a lovely article about one of my favorite places to visit, but we really should neutralize some of the references to, for instance, "tasteful bed and breakfasts" and cute "without being too cute." -- Muffuletta 03:20, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Suggest change "back way" language

I suggest that in the paragraph that mentions that many people take the "back way" into PG through Monterey, the wording should be modified to say "surface street route of Del Monte Ave to Lighthouse Ave" or something along those lines. "Back way" is not factual or descriptive to non-locals. Krimsley 05:03, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Susan Goldbeck

A city councilperson for a time, and candidate for mayor, this person came from San Diego with her family and immediately disrupted what was a nice coastal town. No teamwork involved, she did it all on her own. No guess how she got elected there.

Well, a little help from San Diego. Megan's Law, police registration, and Ft. Ord, all victims of Goldbeck's and her Catholicism (really, don't need that). Goldbeck brought impoverished South American children to her San Diego home in the 1980's, to show what nice Americans were. But then she had her own adopted child, and her mother (maiden name Hartung, where's that from?) helped "raise" a niece in Vacaville. Both children abused terribly by Hispanics, so their view of America will never be the one seen by Goldbeck's South American friends. Made Megans Law a farce, and one reason why it shouldn't be in existence (along with hypocritical politicos).
