Owen Biddle is an American bass guitarist, record producer, and songwriter from Philadelphia, who has been touring with Grammy-award-winning hip hop group The Roots since the departure of 17-year-veteran bassist, "Hub" in 2007. Prior to joining the lineup, Biddle was credited with production and writing on the Roots' Grammy-nominated album, Game Theory. Other work includes recordings with Al Green, Beanie Sigel, Baaba Maal, Vivian Green, Carol Riddick, Jazmine Sullivan, Taylor Dayne, Jazzyfatnastees, and Corinne Bailey-Rae.[1]. He is also a member of The Trolleyvox. Owen also was a bassist, composer and founding member of the Philadelphia based rock band Pepper's Ghost.
