Oviedo (or, in Asturian, Uviéu) is one of 8 comarcas (Asturian: cotarros), which is a province and an autonomous community in Spain .
The comarca of Oviedo is formed by 21 municipalities (municipios, whose governments are concejos or, in Asturian, conceyos). From east to west they are:
