Overlanders

"Overlander" or "Overlanders" has a number of meanings. These include:
- An Australian name for a drover who covers very long distances, often through remote areas.
- The Overlander is a train that operates between Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand.
- Overlander, Western Australia is a location in Australia
- "The Overlanders" is a movie about Drovers droving a large herd of cattle across the Outback of Australia during the Second World War.
- The Overlanders is the name of a British 1960s music group.
- Overlanders are a species in the comic Sonic the Hedgehog. They are slightly mutated descendants of humans, having only four fingers instead of five, which were created by the Xorda gene bomb launched on Earth thousands of years ago. They typically have strong feelings of xenophobia towards their Mobian counterparts.
- Overlander is used as a nickname for the Australian train The Overland
- Overlanders in British Columbia were members of a group called the Overlander Party, which came to the then-colony overland from Canada. Many later became prominent members of BC society.
