Ouvrage Kerfent was a lesser work (petit ouvrage) of the Maginot Line. The ouvrage consisted of three infantry blocks and an observation block, and is located between petits ouvrages Mottemberg and Bambesch, facing Germany. The ouvrage is presently flooded.

On 21 June 1940, the Wehrmacht attacked Kerfent with 88mm high velocity gunfire. Despite machine gun support from neighboring Mottemberg, Kerfent was forced to surrender [1].
