Born, grew up, and worked in Dublin, Ireland (commercial management), similarly half a life in Bavaria, Germany. Presently personal life-management. Claim some Benedictine roots.
Exploring the authenticity of Irish history during the three decades prior to 1920, it became apparent that many important developments and significant events during those crucial years, had been, if not marginalised, simply de-existed out of historic publications by most “acknowledged” historians.
An abundance of selective history written from a traditionally approved perspective is widely available, and in the case of our educational system, instilling a trans-generational uniformity of thinking, raising the question of whether accepted history might be nothing other than a collective conspiracy to generate a continued adopted view of history.
Irish historiography is much the worse for largely outcasting half of a period rich in historical socio-economic source material. Deprived of attention its scale of magnitude makes it all the more deserving of ongoing unbiased and politically neutral reappraisal. History should be about constant questioning of assumptions and revisiting.
The extent to which an understanding between the Island of Ireland’s divergent communities can evolve will depend on the measure of acceptance the others traditions, social structures and religious beliefs experience. A pre-requisite - unprejudiced historical honesty.

In appreciation and remembrance of Gaimhreadhan, the following is from his page (August 2007):
"Remember what we are doing here. We are building a free encyclopedia for every single person on the planet. We are trying to do it in an atmosphere of fun, love, and respect for others. We try to be kind to others, thoughtful in our actions, and professional in our approach to our responsibilities." Jimbo Wales"
