I just started adding the page (within the last 5 minutes) and hope people would wait until I'm done before deciding on whether this music group has any importance. BTW, I do not belong to this chamber orchestra and am not trying to sell them to anyone.--tess 01:00, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I question whether the article would fall within the notability requirements at Wikipedia:Notability (music). Philippe Beaudette 01:17, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

- That is why I proposed a merge into Hult Center for the Performing Arts. There is already a section in that article on resident companies, not all of which need their own article. The content of this article can be merged into that section. -Amatulic 18:47, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

- I'm okay with a merge. Philippe Beaudette 19:13, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Whoa! This organization satisfies two notability requirements. For criterion 1, see the reviews posted at www.oregonmozartplayers.org/aboutus/news.asp. Both Eugene newspapers have also published numerous articles about the orchestra. As for criterion 7, Oregon Mozart Players is the ONLY professional chamber orchestra representative in the city of Eugene and is the major professional chamber orchestra in the Pacific Northwest that performs on modern instruments. Moreover only about half of its performances take place at the Hult Center. Before deciding to merge all of the Hult resident companies into the Hult Center entry, it might be a good idea to learn more about the companies themselves. - Seem to me it meets #7 of the notabiltiy guide-line. There isn't anything else like it in this region - a professional quality chamber orchestra. --tessc (talk) 21:12, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
