Operation Jupiter

There were 3 operations called Jupiter during World War 2:
- in 1942, a British plan to invade Norway which never materialised.
- in 1942, a failed Soviet offensive against the Rzhev salient
- in 1944, an attack to capture Hill 112, a prominent height in Normandy
- Operation Jupiter is a joint policing intiative co-ordinated by Interpol:
- Operation Jupiter I and II focused on counterfeit pharmaceuticals, CDs and DVDs and tobacco products in South America
- Operation Jupiter III is focusing on counterfeit drugs in south east Asia
- Operation Jupiter was also the French title of video game Hostages (computer game)
