The Ontario Australian Football League is the largest Australian rules football league in North America. It is currently composed of teams from the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario, who play off for the Conacher Cup (named after Lionel Conacher, the greatest all-round athlete in Canadian sports history), presently awarded to the winner of the annual OAFL Grand Final.

The OAFL, along with the North West Pacific Football League is a member of AFL Canada, the governing body for the sport in Canada.

In 2006, the OAFL had around 330 senior players consisting of over 170 Canadian nationals.^[1]

The league began as the Canadian Australian Football Association in May 1989. Two teams were formed that year - the Mississauga Mustangs and the Toronto Panthers.
