OnStream Networks

OnStream Networks was a Santa Clara, California-based supplier of Circuit Emulation Service (CES) based Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) solutions.
They used the AAL1gator designed by Network Synthesis and acquired by Integrated Telecom Technology (later acquired by PMC-Sierra) to implement their CES solution.
Their office was on Octavius Drive in Santa Clara, California. Jim Mongiello was the President and CEO. Mitri Halabi was the V.P. of Engineering, and Jim Jacobson was a lead engineer.
OnStream was acquired by 3Com, also of Santa Clara, in 1996 for $254M.
