[edit] Hyperbole

"The One Inch Punch is immortalized as an ability of one of King of Fighters main characters, K' and Kula Diamond." I wouldn't say a video game 95% of people have never heard of, immortalized the one inch punch. That's a bit far fetched.

KOF was actually the number-two most popular franchise of fighting games for a good long while, second only to Street Fighter- it's just that its popularity was mostly confined to Europe. -Toptomcat 15:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dan tian?

"As with most Chinese martial arts, the power for this attack comes from the Dan tian. The dan tian is an area about three inches below the navel from which all power derives"

This doesn't sound very scientific. It should probably be either removed or reworded. (It is claimed that.. etc) Debolaz 19:28, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Given to understand that the dan tian is the centre of mass? Therefore this seems logical to me. Leushenko (talk) 01:27, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Straight Blast

The straight blast or chain punching technique wasn't 'created' by Bruce Lee. It couldn't be. It's a Wing Chun thing, isn't it? I'm going to remove it

[edit] Jing Confusion

Jing4 (勁, Chinese for "power") must not be confused with the Taoist concept of Jing1 (精, Chinese for "essence"). They are too different words in pronounciation, writing and meaning. Thus, "emit essence" has nothing to do with fa jing. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.148.141.250 (talk) 18:41, 9 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Remove list of games

What's the point of this huge list of games that have some sort of 1" punch? I think no-one reading the article is really interested in this. Something along the lines of "Many fighting games incorporate the 1" punch as a move, like game1, game2,game3" is enough to convince that the punch is popular. Anything more is just not pointless. - SuperMidget (talk) 12:46, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
