Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker is an album by The Joe Perry Project, released in 1983 on MCA Records. Joe started working on the album in early 1982 with Brad Whitford. In fact Brad cut demos of "Black Velvet Pants" and "No Time For Women" plus the unreleased "When Worlds Collide" with Joe in February 1982. Drummer Ronnie Stewart was still with the JPP for the February and November demo sessions.

3. "Going Down" - a cover of the blues/rock Don Nix song demoed in February 1982 with Brad.
4. "They'll Never Take Me Alive" - this song was demoed in November 1982.
5. "Into The Night" - a song demoed during pre-production in June 1983.
6. "Something Else" - a cover of the classic Eddie Cochran song recorded, and discarded, during the album sessions.

"When Worlds Collide" and "Going Down" were often included in JPP sets prior to the recording of the album. "Something Else" was performed during the tour for the album.
