Obscurity is a ROIO by Pink Floyd. This double-disc set was recorded at the Taft Auditorium in Cincinnati on November 20th 1971. (This is contrary to the information on the CD, which claims to have been recorded at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland on November 6th.)

The Taft Auditorium performance was the last show of the American leg of the Meddle album tour, as well as Pink Floyd's last performance of 1971. This recording features the longest-ever version of the unreleased song "Embryo", and marks the band's last-ever performance of that song, as well as Fat Old Sun (later revived by David Gilmour during his solo concerts in 2001-2006) and Cymbaline. The master tape used for this CD was incomplete and ended partway through Echoes, though since the release of this CD a second source tape has surfaced that completes the show.

The final three selections on "Obscurity" are bonus tracks, taken from the band's full-on live performance in Waterbury, CT on March 18, 1973 (though some Pink Floyd scholars believe this recording to have been made at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on March 17th 1973. Included are two songs from the band's Obscured by Clouds album, which was an immediate success with fans and critics alike.
