Oberriet is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Rheintal in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
It lies between Rüthi in the south and Eichberg in the northwest.
There are five villages within its borders:
- Oberriet
- Eichenwies
- Montlingen
- Kriessern
- Holzrhode
