[edit] s-line labels

Sorry, I think I wasn't that sure when I was making the templates. Template:SMRT stations are used only for the next and previous entries of s-line, and I understand that now. I've removed the entries with or in them as they are clearly not needed. 리지강.wa.au (의논하다|기여) 09:54, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] s-rail-next

Thank you for creating this useful option; it looks much cleaner. --AlisonW (talk) 22:55, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi Oahiyeel, you have been invited to attend the SGpedians' meetup on 29 December 2007. We are planning to make this a full day event, but you may join/leave at anytime you wish. If you can or cannot make it, please leave your name here. It will be good to have you at the meetup. Terence (talk) 09:08, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Route diagram template

Please note that to increase the size of icons, not only should the BS templates be modified, the BScollapsible templates should be edited too. Thanks~ – PeterCX&Talk 13:38, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Now you've done it again! Change them all or revert your edits. The specifications on all the templates have to be the same. Peter helped to repair the mess you made previously - and now you've repeated it. This is also not a universal fix because the apparent gaps are caused by differing text sizes; test this by changing your text size and the gaps will come and go. - Secondarywaltz (talk) 16:30, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Peter: Thanks for pointing that out to me. I hadn't realised the collapsible templates were affected.
Secondarywaltz: I dislike and do not entertain/engage in any conversations that are negative in nature. If you would like to discuss about the reasons I've had for changing the px, I'd gladly provide them. However, if the negative, assumptious nature of your comments persists, I would choose to ignore them. Thanks. - oahiyeel talk 20:48, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that. Just a little frustrating to discover many templates had changed again. The first change to 22px, after repairs by Peter, was an improvement for me. I was trying to be constructive in advising you that how we may view the templates is not universal. The changes work for me - and I thank you for that. - Secondarywaltz (talk) 21:31, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
No worries. In fact, after knowing that these templates were affected, I realised that the problem of gaps in FF is not in the pixels but simply the rendering of firefox. The "gaps" in IE using the "fixes" for FF were caused as a result of not modifying the {{BS-table}} templates. I'll try out more in my sandboxes (armed with these added knowledges) before I make anymore changes to the templates in future. :) - oahiyeel talk 16:44, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] F1 Numbers

For Mclaren, it's the same thing as Renault with Alonso and Piquet; it's obvious that Lewis Hamilton will have no. 22 and Heikki number 23, isn't it? It's the same thing as with Williams, we can assume that Rosberg will have number 7. Somebody put the number 5 to Alonso and 6 to Piquet without any sources so I don't see the difference with the other two. I put these numbers to Williams and Mclaren because as I said, we know Rosberg and Hamilton will be the leaders of their teams at least for the beginning of the season. It's common sense, Mclaren won't put number 23 to Hamilton and 22 to Kovalainen. Sometimes things are to complicated on Wiki and it becomes annoying. Anyways, when Kovalainen signed with Mclaren, I read somewhere that he would wear number 23. To conclude, I didn't put numbers to other teams, because I don't know which numbers will be assigned to the drivers. VincentG (talk) 17:28, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] MediaCorp TV Drama Page Vandalism Alert

I am sure you know by now the vandalism efforts made by ColourWolf and his cohort of sockpuppets on various MediaCorp TV drama pages. Can you help me in reverting their edits, and restoring the integrity of pages with Singaporean interests? Arbiteroftruth (talk) 05:56, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:SMRT lines template 2nd parameter

Hi, I was attempting to use the template in the system table at Mass_Rapid_Transit_(Singapore)#Current_network where I needed the text to be in colour and bolded. I am not an expert in cheem codes, so I simply looked around and copied the one from Template:HK-MTR_lines! My apo0logies if that causes a mistake elsewhere!--Huaiwei (talk) 08:05, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion review of Category:Wikipedians who support Hezbollah

Hi. I noticed you took part in the debate at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents/Hezbollah userbox and I was wondering if you might want to participate in a debate I have started at deletion review of this category and accompanying userboxes here.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 02:32, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Whoops. I got your name from Wikipedia:WikiProject Wikipedians against censorship/Members. I've got too many things going on at the same time. My apologies for the confusion.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 02:44, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:VV.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:VV.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:43, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:C2c style

A tag has been placed on Template:C2c style requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NDP Song Reach out for the Sky 05.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:NDP Song Reach out for the Sky 05.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Light Rapid Transit

I note with some level of alarm that you have single-handedly moved all LRT-related material to mean "Light Rail Transit" without solid material to back up this move. The official name of the LRT is "Light Rapid Transit" without much doubt. Please see LTA's website at [2], as well as its recently published Land Transport Masterplan [3] on page v, where the LRT is clearly listed to mean "Light Rapid Transit". Kindly experdite to have all affected articles restored. Thank you.--Huaiwei (talk) 02:24, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

I've listed out the reasons at Talk:Light Rail Transit (Singapore) - oahiyeel talk 10:19, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Kindly address the issue over at Talk:Light Rail Transit (Singapore) in good time before you continue to make related changes. Thank you.--Huaiwei (talk) 20:08, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
This is a second reminder to re-visit the issue at Talk:Light Rail Transit (Singapore). If no valid responses are received in seven days, all references to "Light Rail Transit" will be restored to "Light Rapid Transit" as per reasons stated.--Huaiwei (talk) 02:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
This is a third reminder. The articles will be reverted within seven days if no further input is recorded.--Huaiwei (talk) 14:01, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
I conduct myself based on the importance of WP:V or other core policies of this website, not on whether how others think of me. We are writing an encyclopedia, and not a forum where popularity counts. I am afraid you do not deserve any exceptional treatment in this regard for your blatant disregard for that policy. As for your comment on my 3RRs, editwars, etc, etc, let me just point out quite matter of factly that you are absolutely in no better position to tell anyone off this way, unless you demonstrate adequate understanding in what actually transpired in each of those disputes, and on the personalities I was dealing with. Until then, I would expect in the very minimum that you keep your comments to yourself and to respect each editor for what he is worth. Since you have indicated your unwillingness to discuss further in this topic despite being given more than ample time to do so in light of your personal commitments, I will henceforth proceed with the reversions. I hope this will be a lesson learnt for you that hasty changes of this magnitude should always be discussed with ample time given for responses, to conduct a more comprehensive research beyond just internet searches, and to learn to evaluate the credibility of each source vis-a-vis each other. Cheers.--Huaiwei (talk) 17:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you know if Shell Station is an official term for a station that is built but unused? If so, I'd like to make an article for it. Do you know of any other such stations in the world? DaronDierkes (talk) 05:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
