Nyctibatrachus major is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. English names are Malabar Night Frog [1] Large Wrinkled Frog [2] and Boulenger's Narrow-eyed Frog [3]
It is endemic to elevations of 110-920 m, in Malabar and Wynaad, Kerala, and Anamali Conservation Area, Tamil Nadu, India.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss. [4]
