Nuthall

Nuthall is a village located in Nottinghamshire, England, neighbouring Kimberley, Cinderhill and Basford. It is part of the Borough of Broxtowe.

Nuthall is split into two areas, Old Nuthall, which lies between Nuthall Island and Kimberley, and New Nuthall, which lies between Bells Lane and Nuthall Island. New Nuthall also includes the Mornington Crescent Estate, a late 1980s/early 1990s development which borders Strelley. New Nuthall likewise borders Broxtowe Country Park and a bypass road (Woodhouse Way) which was built to reduce through-traffic.

In comparison to New Nuthall, the houses in Old Nuthall tend to be larger and more spread out^{[citation needed]}. The estate has a larger number of elderly residents, especially in areas of the estate consisting of bungalows. New Nuthall is largely semi-detached housing estates occupied by a younger population, although it does still include many detached houses and bungalows.^{[citation needed]}. The area's crime rate is generally low.
