[edit] Others
If you're including the Concert for Diana, then you have to include the much larger Freddie Mercury tribute for AIDS research. --Madchester 15:18, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
what about the Monterey Pop Festival?
Why not the pitchfrork festivele or all tomorrows parties?
[edit] Standards?
This template has no standards for inclusion. Are all concerts/festivals supposed to be listed? I can't tell why some are listed and other are not. Some genres seem exluded, like country music. Why aren't the CMA Music Festival and Country Stampede Music Festival included? And where are the notable blues and jazz festivals? Is this supposed to be just rock festivals; if so, it should say so. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks. Kgwo1972 17:18, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have changed the title to notable rock concerts. There is still an issue with standards for inclusion, but this clarifies the issue somewhat. -Kgwo1972 12:54, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- There's still the issue of multi-band performances vs. single-band-yet-notable performances. For instance, few would argue that Dylan's appearance at the Royal Albert Hall or the Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense shows weren't "notable rock concerts", yet they don't seem to fit the category. "Notable Rock Festivals" doesn't fit everything on the list, though it encompasses the idea of a multi-performer event. Maybe it makes sense to split the template in half: "Notable Rock Festivals" and "Notable Rock Benefits"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.24.228 (talk) 04:32, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
