North Catholic High School is a private Catholic high school located on Troy Hill on the Northside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school's mascot is the Trojan and its official colors are scarlet and gold.
North Catholic High School began as an all-boys school in 1939, founded by Bishop Hugh Charles Boyle of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Marianists.[2] Girls first began enrolling in the school in 1973.
In April 2006, North Catholic High School announced that the Diocese of Pittsburgh approved the move of the school from Troy Hill to Cranberry Township in southern Butler County.[3][1] The driving reason for the proposed move is the declining enrollment at the school and changing demographics suggesting a greater percentage of kids enrolling from Pittsburgh's outer suburbs. The cost to finance the move (expected to be as much as $30 million) will fall entirely on the school, with no financial help coming from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. A final decision on the move, which is not expected to be complete before 2010, is expected in June 2007.
[edit] Athletics

The 2007 Golf team shot a career low 218, with three players shooting personal bests. North completed their season with three wins, which tripled their win total of the year before.
