North Avenue LRT Station, also called North for short, is a proposed station on the Manila LRT Yellow Line under the Line 1 North Extension Project. The station will be located in Diliman in Quezon City and is named after its location, which is at the corner of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and North Avenue. It would be the new terminus of the Yellow Line and will be the transfer point to the Manila MRT Blue Line's North Avenue Station.
SM Prime Holdings is in talks with the Light Rail Transit Authority to fund the construction of the station with an additional station at the SM City North EDSA Annex. [1]
