Nornagest (born June 10, 1977) is a Belgian black metal vocalist, best known for his vocal work on the album Tetra Karcist by Enthroned. His career started in the Belgian metal band Heresia. In 1995, Nornagest was invited to join Enthroned on their first album Prophecies of Pagan Fire but declined the offer for some reason. The album became one of the cult albums of the genre, even though some fans consider previous vocalist Sabathan's vocals hard to handle. In the band's now 15 year history, he's the band's main composing member.
In 2007, Nornagest took over vocals duties in Enthroned after previous vocalist Sabathan was kicked out. His vocals are considered to be more powerful and of a wider range of most vocalists in this genre. Nornagest got endorsed by Jackson guitars and is preparing now the up coming album of his main band. Nornagest has been studying occultism, demonology and Goetia since his very youth. He is working on several grimoires and books regarding occult topics and doctrines.
Nornagest is born of English blood and is the cousin of Cronos, lead singer of the cult black metal band Venom. He resides in Gent, Belgium.
