Norman River

The Norman River is a river in Queensland, Australia. The river originates in the Gregory Range and flows 420 km northwest to the Gulf of Carpentaria. It is joined by two major tributaries, the Clara and Yappar Rivers. The major towns on the river are Normanton and the major fishing port of Karumba.
The river flooded in 1975 and 1991.
