"No One Knows" is a 2002 song by the rock band Queens of the Stone Age. It is the first single released from third album Songs for the Deaf. The song was a #1 Modern Rock hit and also a big hit in Australia, becoming the #1 song on the Triple J Hottest 100 chart of 2002 and this song also made the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time by The Rolling Stone at #97
It has been covered by numerous groups, including The Zutons, The Section Quartet, The Divine Comedy and The Dresden Dolls. A sample of this song appears in the song "Nobody's Listening (Evil Genius Remix)" on the Fort Minor Mixtape: We Major.
The song is featured in the PlayStation 2 video game Guitar Hero and is also featured on the NHL 2003 soundtrack and the film Confidence. A remix of the song by British group UNKLE appears in the video games SSX 3, Test Drive Unlimited, and Race Driver: Grid.
"No One Knows" was awarded the number one position on Australian national radio station Triple J's annual Hottest 100 competition, a listener ranked chart, in the year of 2002. In March 2005, Q magazine placed it at number 70 in its list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Tracks. In September 2006, NME placed it at number 13 in its list of the 50 Greatest Tracks Of The Decade.
The song was first performed live on March 7, 2002.
Many fans of Queens of the Stone Age and Desert Sessions would notice that the main riff of "No One Knows" can be found in Desert Sessions' song "Cold Sore Superstars".

The music video for "No One Knows" was directed by Dean Karr.[1] The video was highly successful which led it to earn a nomination for the MTV2 Award at 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.[2]
It features the band in a car, when they hit a deer. The deer then comes back to life and takes revenge on the band. The video also features Dave Grohl (of Nirvana/Foo Fighters fame) playing the drums. Dave Grohl features on the single itself. This video also features former MADtv cast member, Nicole Sullivan.
