Nicholas James Sebastian Rowe (born November 22, 1966) is an English actor. He has appeared in numerous movies, television programs and theatre plays, though he is most recognized as Sherlock Holmes in Steven Spielberg's production Young Sherlock Holmes.
Rowe was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of Alison, a singer, and Andrew Rowe, a member of parliament and editor.[1] He attended Eton and received a BA in Hispanic Studies from Bristol University. Rowe was the partner of Lou Gish until her death in February 2006.
