Nicholas Anthony DiMarzio

Bishop Nicholas Anthony DiMarzio (June 16, 1944 - Present) is currently the seventh Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn.
Nicholas DiMarzio was ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Church on May 30, 1970 in the Archdiocese of Newark. In the year of 1996, Reverand DiMarzio was elevated to the office of Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Newark. From 1998 through 2001 he was chairman of the Migration Committee of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and on June 8, 1999 he was appointed as sixth bishop of the Diocese of Camden. He remained there for four years, until on August 1, 2003 he was named the seventh bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn.
