Extraordinary Panamanian Singer and Composer well known for his Carnival Songs. Pedro is inspired by the Panamanian Cultural Aspects, infuences in the culture, politics and raw realities of the country using funny Panamanian slang. This attract the attention of crowds, not only of adults but also of young people who feel identified with his songs. Pedro start writing songs in 1979.
Some of his Political Songs has been so controversial that some of them has been censored by the different governments including Manuel Noriega, dictatorship. In 1984 the song "Lecciones" was sensored because it talks about the electoral fraud that year. With his burlesque songs he healed the oppression of the Panamanians. In February 2004 one week before Carnivals Pedrito Launched the song named "La Doña" a satire to Mireya Moscoso, also very controversial because of its direct critic content to the actual government
Most of his songs have influences of Calypso, Salsa and Carnival Brass and Drums Bands of Las Tablas known as Murgas bringing a unique Panamanian style.
He also have a song for our actual President Martin Torrijos, named "Catin le dijo a Martin". Even Gilberto Santa Rosa, in his song "Navidad En Panama" mention Pedrito as part of the Panamanian Culture.
