It was a redirect to 39th Flying Training Squadron, a page which never existed! Redirects like this don't really help much, and it's tidier to get rid of them so that it doesn't confuse people looking for created vs. uncreated articles. Shimgray | talk | 18:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for that. Seeing as though there are so many Wollongong related fortification articles, it might be a good idea to create a navigation box to link them up. Then link it up to the Sydney nav box. Maybe we could call it "Barracks · Batteries · Bunkers · Forts · (South Coast New South Wales)". I could get to work on this. Cheers. --User:Adam.J.W.C. Hi, if you would like to add it into the template I would be all for it, but because I am not an expert in these matters you may need a second opinion. Thanks for directing me that article. Back in the mid 90's before the area was landscaped you could see the concrete bunker like buildings set into the hillside from I think Hill Rd. You can't actually see them now unless you walk right upto the fence just down the road from the jail. I could probably get a picture for the article next time I am around the area. Sorry for the late reply, Ive been a little tired lately. There was some pretty interesting stuff in that article. I may even head out there when possible to take some pics. When I get around to it I may even head out to some of those south coast fortifications as well.

Also do you think it would be worthwhile writing an article about the Navy Oil storage tanks in the Domain. You know the one. I have actually been inside the tanks, and yes you were right about that place being toxic. When I went there on that night you could smell fumes in the park above the tanks. When I went inside the smell in there was overwhelming. I went in there with a group of about twenty people. Some of the participants had flotation devices and some people swam inside the reservoir. I actually walked all the way around the perimeter through the water which was at about chest hight. The water looked clear except for a thin film of oil on top of the water. The water also had thousands and thousands of white particles floating in the water as well. I was told that the particles had something to do with the breakdown of oil. Later on in the night someone got their torch out and shone it through the darkness, creating a beam of white mist. This mist was toxic fumes that we were breathing in. After a while I felt shaky so I had to climb out. When I got out I also felt dizzy and had slurred speech. You were right, I should never have gone in there, but any way it could lead to another article. I have found one website with a small amount of information on the topic. Hi, the short answer is no. The name Papua at the time referred to the south-east part of the mainland (the Territory of Papua in 1902-49).

However, "Papuan Campaign" usually only means Kokoda and the Battle of Buna-Gona, although strictly speaking Buna-Gona occurred in the area then known as Territory of New Guinea! Don't ask me... Grant | Talk 15:09, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
