Newswire is an American television news music package composed by 615 Music. It was originally created for Chicago's WMAQ-TV in 1992.
While WMAQ no longer uses the theme, it is still used by several other stations, for example WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois (since 1996) and WAVY in Portsmouth, Virginia (since 1995).
