New Douglas Park is a football stadium in Hamilton, Scotland, which serves as the home of Hamilton Academical.
The pitch was converted to artificial FieldTurf in 2004. Hamilton Academical have stated that the artificial surface will be replaced by grass due to SPL rules. In addition to the turf replacement, a temporary stand was erected in March 2008 to bring the stadium's capacity up to the SPL requirement of 6,000 all seater.
The stadium's record attendance of 5,078 was set on March 15, 2008 when Hamilton played Dundee in a top of the table First Division game[1].
