It is for the first time in the history of Indian football that a professional sports management agency has taken over the management of a football club. It is also the first ever corporate takeover of a football club in Delhi. As promised by both Osian’s and IOS, the takeover is the next step in developing the infrastructure of football in India through an amalgamation of art and culture for the football loving fans of the country.
New Delhi Heroes are the past Winners of the Inaugural DCM Cup – 1945 They beat the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry 3-2 They are also six-time DSA League winners – 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958, 1959
They won the DSA Leage again this season. they won the title in style by goin throough the entire campaign unbeaten.
