New Berlin West High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Berlin West High School is one of two public high schools located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Although it shares a building with New Berlin West Middle School, it is considered a separate entity with its own administration. The high school serves grades 9 through 12. The current principal is David LaBorde, and the current vice-principal is Robert Krecak. The school colors are blue and gold, while the school mascot is the Viking.
The school recently underwent major construction. New additions to the building include a theater, a fieldhouse that includes an indoor track, and tennis courts. Renovations were made to the bathrooms and workout facilities. "West," as it is commonly called, hosted the Woodland Conference Indoor Track Meet in 2007 for the first time. The class of 2007 was the first to host graduation in the new fieldhouse. West is known for its rivalry with the other New Berlin public high school, Eisenhower, (commonly known as "Ike").
