Nejapa Fútbol Club is a Salvadoran professional football Team. The Team is currently based in Nejapa, El Salvador. The club currently plays in the Primera División de Fútbol Profesional. The club was promoted in 2007.

Nejapa Fútbol Club was formed on July of 2002, thanks to collarbration with both the muncipal council of Nejapa (WITHOUT COMMUNITY CONSULTATION) and the university of El Salvador (UES). when the equipment of the UES obtained a category to be in Second Division, their representatives contacted René Canjura, mayor of Nejapa, to know if it were interested in acquiring the space in the Third division . In that month it concluded the process of inscription of the new equipment in the Third Division.
In 2004, Nejapa futbol clube won promotion to the second division. Thanks to the help of both the Colombian player Andrés Medina and the Manager Douglas Vidal Jiménez (former coach of ADET). In 2005/06 season nejapa progressed all the way to the final however were defeated by nacional 1906.
Carlos "el Cacho" Meléndez signed with nejapa, began signing both upcoming players and experienced players such as the Mexican Jose luis osorio, after reaching semi final they defeated Municipal Limeno.
In the final, They played against J. Independiente which they won with winning goal jose luis osorio allowed promotion the Primera División de Fútbol Profesional for the first time.
