"National Express" is a name of a song by The Divine Comedy. It was released as the Third single from the album Fin de Siècle.
[edit] Background
The song was written by Neil Hannon about his observations on a bus (possibly the National Express bus). The song details things that he saw during the journey, such as 'The family man/manhandling the pram/with paternal pride'.[1] It has been misinterpreted by some to be a snobbish song towards the working class, however in an interview Hannon dispels this rumor.[2]
