"My Baby Loves Me" is a 1966 soul standard by Motown girl group Martha and the Vandellas. The song was one of their stand-out hit singles and a rare hit ballad during the period the group was scoring uptempo hits. None of the Vandellas are featured in this song. Instead, the song is helped in the background by Motown's background session group, The Andantes, and another legendary Motown group, The Four Tops. Co-written and produced by William "Mickey" Stevenson, the song rose to #22 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart and #3 on Billboard's Hot R&B singles chart. The song has the narrator sing of her lover and how much he loves and needs her.
