No problem Azizi. Almost done with the other page (for last year) - Iraq Super League (2005-2006). By the way, in wikipedia, when you make a comment in the talk page, you want to sign your name in the end of your message. To do this, simply type ~~~~. Salams. Chaldean 02:54, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Also, check this out - 2007 in Iraqi football Chaldean 04:16, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

IRC( irc.freenode.net 6667 #wikipedia) is the best way I find. But {{help}} works, I am currently speaking to one on this matter.

[edit] TfD nomination of Template:Iraq Squad 2007 AFC Asian Cup

Template:Iraq Squad 2007 AFC Asian Cup has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. — Neier 07:41, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment at the TFD discussion. I agree that it is a good idea to link to the major squads lists (like Asian Cup 2007 squads#Iraq) from each player article. Most people think the templates at the bottom will clutter an article (and, for some players it is a big issue); but, a link in the See also section, or a section like Naohiro Takahara#National team can give the same information. I tried to keep the champions like Asian Cup or Euro when we first talked about this in the spring; but, was quickly out-voted. Neier 00:59, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ahmad Radhi

Hey Mussav. Do you have a source stating that it was false? If so, then that would be great. We could use that to expand the article and talking about how he was falsy accused of this. Have a good night. Chaldean 05:48, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Iraqi football

Greetings Mussav. According to Wikipedia:WikiProject Football, it recomments to use the original club name, in its native language. (Example: Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ). The article's title needs to be the offical name, not the english translation, according to WikiPronect Football. Chaldean (talk) 01:19, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Okay bro, but FYI Zaxo and using Al instead of Ash are official. Mussav (talk) 04:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Great! By the way, I have been monitoring your battle in the Baghdad and Mesopotamia articles. I support your effort. Chaldean (talk) 15:44, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Chaldean, well lol I get banned because of it :p Mussav (talk) 17:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
You won't get banned as long as you do it the right way. Chaldean (talk) 17:41, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Basra

To be honest with you, I am really not an expert when it comes to Southern Iraq. Perhaps User:EliasAlucard or User:Tourskin could be more helpful for you. I think they known that stuff. Chaldean (talk) 19:54, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Chaldean, I appreciate it. :) Mussav (talk) 19:57, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Hello fellow Mesopotamian. I conclude that Basra, like Baghdad, was a city built by the Arab Empire in c 636 or 638. My handbook on Ancient Iraq: Bertman, Stephen (2005). Handbook to Life in Ancient Mesopotamia. New York: Oxford UP.
Does not mention Basra. It does not mention the old site name of "Perat d'Maishan" either. So Basra was built by the Arabs. Many other websites (by googling Basra) suggest this as well, as does wikipedia. However, Basra was built close to an old city called "Perat d'Maishan". It is likely that the town Perat d'Maishan was a Sassanid settlement built in Iraq when Ctesiphon served as the Iranian capital. With the Arab conquest of Persia the settlement must have declined and the Arabs built a new city, Basra in its place.
I hope this helps, Tourskin (talk) 19:08, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Tourskin, this is really helped. :) Mussav (talk) 19:26, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Four Great Ancient Civilizations

Stay calm. I personally agree with you and also think that Four Great Ancient Civilizations does not make any sense. Please remember that it is not I that created this concept. It is a concept in Chinese historiography and is not widely accepted in the world. And it is under criticism even in China now.--Neo-Jay (talk) 19:29, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your replay and for Clarifying it. Mussav (talk) 19:44, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Abu Hanifa an-Nu‘man

The section "Once upon a time" that you added to this article was directly copied and pasted from here. Since the source site contains a copyright notice, this is considered a copyright violation, and the section has been removed from the article. 68.221.253.252 (talk) 19:52, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

But I already referred to the site. Mussav (talk) 21:01, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes you did - which made it much easier to identify the copyright violation. :) You cannot copy and paste text from a copyrighted source into Wikipedia - or anywhere else for that matter. If information from a reliable source can be used to add to a WP article, you can update the article in your own words, and add a citation to the source. Think of it this way...if you are writing a research paper and copy someone else's words, it's considered plagiarism. Copy/paste into WP is both plagiarism and copyright infringement.
I suggest that you read though the pages linked above for additional information. Hope that helps! 68.221.253.252 (talk) 16:09, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
well... thanks for the info. Mussav (talk) 17:28, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User:Mo1993

Bro this new user is becoming really annoying. He is screwing up Arbil FC's page and I am trying my best to stop him. Perhaps you can intervene. Chaldean (talk) 16:06, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Hello Bro, I took a look at Arbil page's History and I think you are right, it was improper and your last revision is better, I just sent a message to Mo and I hope everything be fine. Mussav (talk) 23:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. Chaldean (talk) 00:47, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copy and Paste moves

Please, stop copying and pasting to move a page. It's against guideline and there are licensing issues when you do so. Read WP:MOVE for more info. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 18:06, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm fixing it, It called Gulf Cup in the UAFA, not Persian Gulf cup. Mussav (talk) 18:08, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
I know, I understand that but it's besides the issue. When you copy and paste move a page you lose the history of that page, and the history needs to be kept for licensing reasons. Read WP:CPMV and WP:MOVE to move them properly. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 18:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
So why you didn't Warned User:Shahin.shn ? he did all the mess. Mussav (talk) 18:19, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
His move wasn't done by copying and pasting. He used the move button at the top of the page, which keeps the page histories. And let's just talk on your page.--ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 18:24, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the Info. Mussav (talk) 18:27, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
YW, sorry if I sound a little frustrated, I deal with this a few times a day and it's not easy. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 18:30, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
It's Okay, you are doing your Job. :) I'll try to talk to User:Shahin.shn, because This isn't naming conflict, This Cup has it own Official name assigned by the UAFA, and that's what I'm trying to say. Mussav (talk) 18:36, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The House of Wisdom‎

This user (User:07fan) is accusing me of removing sources while I didn't, I just resorted the Paragraph and improved it (by adding sourced info), and yet this user is kept annoying me by giving me warnings for no reason, and accusing me of things that I didn't do. while he is the one who is removing the contents and removing the sourced info. Mussav (talk) 05:50, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Persian Gulf Cup of Nations

Who moved this page? This is not the correct name of the tournament. I have put a request to admins to move it back. Chaldean (talk) 15:52, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I tried so hard to get it back, but I couldn't. the person who made all the mess is User:Shahin.shn. Mussav (talk) 01:37, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
It has succesfully been moved back. Let me know if you need help when you face Persian opposition in other pages. Chaldean (talk) 16:10, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Iraq

[edit] Hello

Thanks for your fast response! The message was intended urge all WikiProject Iraq participants to pay attention to it. It was progressively growing outdated and was in dire need of attention. What I meant by improving it is to get more Iraq articles to GA and FA status, and not keep the status quo. Your contributions are certainly appreciated and you can help the project if you get some of them to GA status. If you need help with that, I am right here! Glad that you are ready to help! I think for the moment the least thing that can be done is to tag articles relating to Iraq with the WikiProject Iraq. Cheers! Λua∫Wise (Operibus anteire) 14:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you Auawise, I'll try my best. :) Mussav (talk) 17:43, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your tagging campaign

Mussav, I have doubts whether it is useful to tag every article associated with ancient Mesopotamia as within the scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Iraq. There is a separate Wikipedia:WikiProject Ancient Near East for articles dealing with pre-Achaemenid content. Please do only tag topics post-dating the Sassanid period. dab (𒁳) 09:44, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

The History of Mesopotamia extend thru generations, why you think we should stop in a certain generation, in the end Iraq's name represent the history of the lands, that were once existed. Any way you maybe right, but what is the harm to relate it with Iraq project? Eventually the Iraqi members will take care of it in any way. Mussav (talk) 09:53, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
It does not matter if some people disagree, Mussav, I am glad that you are enthusiastic about the project. In fact you will be the first one to receive the the Iraq barnstar of national merit once we can agree on a usable form.
I was thinking that I can supply you with simple Javascript that will allow you to tag articles much faster with only one click, sort of like WP:Friendly but much simpler.
I noticed that the article Iraq is not a GA, I think it should be a priority to get it there, I was thinking of nominating it, but only after I introduce some changes to it.
Cheers!
Λua∫Wise (Operibus anteire) 19:32, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you Auawise, this is really an honor to me, I'll do my best to help WP Iraq. and thank you for your time, your efforts in WP Iraq and for your supporting. :) Mussav (talk) 19:57, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Barnstar

The Iraqi Barnstar of National Merit
for your dedication and enthusiasm,I hereby award you the barnstar of national merit. :) Λua∫Wise (Operibus anteire) 13:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank You auawise, It's really an honor. :) Mussav (talk) 22:05, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Peris

Here you go bro [[1]]. I was wondering if you could help me. Can you translate the arabic article of this [[2]] to the english one? Mar Paulos Faraj Rahho. Thanks. Chaldean (talk) 01:48, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks bro for uploading the logo, about the translating, there are a lot of Christian definitions that I don't know how to translate it. It will be better if you ask a Christian person to translate it. I'm really sorry. Mussav (talk) 22:54, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Iraq Super League

There is a request move on the talk page. Perhaps you should take a look at it. Chaldean (talk) 21:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree on moving it but Some sites says the Iraqi League, others says the Iraqi Super League and RSSSF says Iraqi Premier League [1], so it's a little bit confusing. Mussav (talk) 22:19, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Edit wars disputes

Please see WP:BRD, with emphasis on the D. dab (𒁳) 09:40, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Mussav I know you don't mean any harm, but that edit seems very POV of you. Turkey doesn't start as "Turkey formerly known as Byzantine" or what not. Mesopotamia is part of the history of Iraq, that can be mentioned in the history section, not in the intro. Chaldean (talk) 14:11, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Interesting change in the Iraq article

When I was in school (Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) fifty years ago, we were taught that the terms "fertile crescent" and "mesopotamia" were synonymous. I note that you corrected someone else who had that same opinion. Thank you. Wowest (talk) 23:43, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism - Ignore this

Dear Mussav, hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate you coming here to contribute, however your recent edits, such as the ones you made to Template:World Soccer Magazine Team of the Year have not helped the encyclopedia and have now been removed. If you continue to do this, you will be blocked from editing for a while, possibly even indefinitely. We'd rather not do that and would rather you contributed constructively, hence this first warning. Thank you for your time and happy editing - // Finns 15:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

My apologies, upon further research you were correct - sorry if it seems racist, but I didn't think Iraq would have won it. Have a cookie as an apology

// Finns

It's okay Finns, Thanks for the cookie. :) Mussav (talk) 15:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
