The Musings of Miles is an album recorded by Miles Davis, for Prestige Records in 1955. The band is presented in a quartet setting - the rhythm section is the nucleus of that of Miles' First Great Quintet, minus Paul Chambers. The First Great Quintet would record in the same year.
"A Night In Tunisia" features Philly Joe Jones playing with special drum sticks which had bells riveted to the shaft.
