Muqeible

Muqeible or Muqeibla (Arabic: مقيبلة, Hebrew: מוקייבלה) is an Israeli Arab town located in Israel's North District, in the Jezreel Valley between T'anach and Jenin. It is a part of the Gilboa Regional Council.
The town was founded in the 18th century by residents of the Samarian village Bruqin, it was later abandoned and reestablished in 1918. The village is named after a sheik, Muqeible, whose burial place is located there. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, Muqeible had a mixed population of approximately 3,000 Muslims and Christians at the end of 2005.[1]
