Stats Canada claim this peak is unnamed. Where's the name from? - Montréalais 05:34, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Mount Nirvana is the offical name. According to bivouac.com, Mount Nirvana is not yet the offical name on government maps, although it is referred to as "Mount Nirvana" in alpine literature. William Buckingham, a mountain climber, coined it Nirvana in 1965. Black Tusk 01:34, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Just noticed this and then saw parts of the article was copied directly from bivouac.com. I rewrote it and added inline references for the above comments. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 14:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
I think it's fine to copy at least two sentences. I remember reading something on Wikipedia that you can copy no more than a few sentences, can't tell you where I read that though because it was quite a while ago. I guess it depends how much infomation the article has. Black Tusk 15:12, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
You're right about that and I have done the same elsewhere but I think that you have to identify it as a quote. Not sure though. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 23:36, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think it had anything to do with quotes. It said something like: Do not copy more than a few sentences or it will become a copyvio. Not sure ether. I will try and find it again sometime. Black Tusk 02:12, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
I found Wikipedia:Non-free content#Acceptable use and Wikipedia:Non-free content#Unacceptable use. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 03:01, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
So the two links above mean we are both right? Black Tusk 18:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Looks like it, eh. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 18:55, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
