Mort Todd is an American who has spent his career in comics, animation and entertainment. While Editor-in-Chief of Cracked, Todd was credited with increasing the magazine's circulation and attracting new and alternative artists to work for the magazine.

Todd made headlines by luring renowned artist Don Martin to defect from MAD Magazine after a 32-year career there to join Cracked. Todd has also worked with bands such as the Rolling Stones, KISS and AC/DC to create comics that appealed to their fans. And in the world of animation, Todd has worked on cartoons for MTV, Disney and CBS. He was also the Executive Editor of Free Comics, a comics newspaper distributed in the New York City area.

In 2005, he was named a Contributing Editor to Cracked Magazine, but soon left after creative differences. Currently, Mort is working with the media company Comicfix (comicfix.com) in developing licensed properties for publishing, film, TV and animation. His latest credit is translating and adapting the Italian Killing photo novels into English under the title Sadistik (goSadistik.com) and developing a Sadistik film. The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal is a documentary about the character, co-produced by Comicfix. Mort has also drawn a mini-series called Protoplasman for Big Bang Comics and is adapting the noir novel The Screaming Mimi by Fredric Brown as a graphic novel and screenplay. Other properties Mort is developing includes Bat Lady, Molly the Model and The Uggly Family, co-created by Daniel Clowes.
