Morgan Jones (Welsh politician)

Morgan Jones (3 May 1886 – 23 April 1939) was a Welsh Labour Party politician.
A conscientious objector in the First World War, he was elected Member of Parliament for Caerphilly at a by-election in 1921 following the death of Labour MP Alfred Onions. Jones held the seat until his own death in 1939, when his successor was Ness Edwards. Morgan Jones Park in the town is named after him.
